Each year Preservation Action, in cooperation with our partners, brings the cause of preservation directly to Congress during National Historic Preservation Advocacy Week. To prepare the hundreds of preservationists for their meetings with their representatives, we provide briefing papers on each of our targeted priorities and have a unified ask for action by representatives. The effectiveness of our Advocacy Week comes from our collective strength as our members come together for the singular purpose of advancing and improving the federal historic preservation program.
The following downloadable PDF documents were prepared for Advocacy Week 2016 which is expected to bring over 250 preservationists to Washington, DC, to meet with over 100 representatives. Advocacy Week 2016 will take place from March 8-10th at the Liaison Hotel in Washington D.C. Check out our Advocacy Week page for more information!
